Open exploration and receiving needA response can precede a known use; an imagined use does not establish demand or benefit.
Revealing and creatingA probe can reveal a response while also changing the subject or supplying necessary support.
Useful reliance and complete explanationA bounded result can serve a use before its full mechanism is known; stronger claims may require a discriminating inquiry.
Local ease and displaced workEnvironmental support can remove an operation during use while adding construction, maintenance or dependence elsewhere.
Reproduction and developmentAnother performer needs the operative conditions; changed conditions can require a new capability or arrangement.
Present result and later recoveryCurrent behavior can hide differences that appear only after disturbance, transfer or a longer interval.
