CB.11:4.2 - Recover the useful work and the means of obtaining it
Use CB.10’s current account or a bounded inquiry to identify what is worth continuing, what has failed and what is no longer needed. Recover the received benefit and the burden of providing it. A founder’s preferred form and a sponsor’s preferred metric are inputs to the choice, not a substitute for the affected uses.
Follow one consequential use through its actual dependencies. A monthly case discussion can depend on a qualified facilitator, permitted case material, access to the venue and a way to return the result. A public guide can depend on a maintainer and a correction route while requiring no continuing meeting.
Use C.36.RP when the missing contribution concerns obtaining and using a shared way of working. It locates the gap and compares access, capable help, learning, tools and method development. Retaining a finished answer can leave its interpretation or adaptation unavailable. Obtain the contribution that the later use actually needs.
Include relationships whose continuation requires willing participation. Ask who wants to remain in contact and through what arrangement. Preserve an available way to reconnect where people agree; do not treat a copied membership list as a renewed relationship.
Retain a worthwhile but not yet used possibility when there is a reason and proportionate means to keep it available. The choice need not be between funding a full programme and discarding every trace of its work. An accessible explanation with a clear maintenance limit may be sufficient.
