Participants receive an arrangement that lets their contributions meet and produce an understandable result. The organiser can change size, timing, medium or support without losing the reason for gathering.

Preparation and facilitation cost effort. A smaller activity, an adequate reference or an individual service may be preferable when a designed shared experience adds little to the receiving use.
