CB.5:5.3 - A product suggestion reaches an actual decision

Independent repairers repeatedly misunderstand a provider’s configuration label. The provider asks the association for useful input. Instead of an unrestricted call for ideas, the product contact requests permitted accounts of the use situation and a proposed distinction that would help.

Participants supply two contrasting cases. One suggests changing the label; another suggests improving the accompanying explanation. The receiving specialist uses the relevant Systems Engineering work to compare product and supporting-arrangement changes. The team tests a revised explanation, then tells contributors which part it adopted and why the hardware label is unchanged.

The community obtained usable input and a returned decision. A count of submitted ideas would miss the comparison, and the participants’ preference would not by itself establish a product change.
