HCD.14:6 - Bias-Annotation

A familiar teaching technique can become the default explanation for every failure. Compare the assessment, support and target rivals before selecting it. Conversely, uncertainty about the final cause should not prevent a clearly bounded, affordable and reversible test.

Protect the learner from a sequence of ever-changing exercises justified only by a rising score. Ask what got worse: independent selection, source access, correctness, workload, confidence in a justified action or a previously supported contribution.
