| Currentness and stability | Respond to material evidence without treating every new publication or tool version as a new Method. |
| Method identity and HCD use | Preserve generic Method semantics and status while deciding whether a human-development use remains warranted. |
| Local evidence and transfer | Use direct observations where they fit without generalizing across learners, Work families, providers, supports, or horizons. |
| Improvement and critical error | Reward useful performance while preventing aggregate gains from hiding unacceptable errors or protected losses. |
| Assistance and human contribution | Use tools, AI, coaching and scaffolding where appropriate while separating equipped performance from later unassisted or changed-support performance. |
| Decision and uncertainty | Finish the strongest supported use or qualified unresolved comparison; select a new probe only for an obtainable contribution worth its full burden. |
| Repertoire and selection | Keep a current field-specific slice without pretending that it performs a local choice, universal retirement, or Method admission. |
