HCD.17:4.8 - Return the supported decision and distinguish any later result
Return the supported current account and decision with the grounds and limits needed to use them. When the task includes a tested change or claims a later relation, use the actual Work and observations at the named interval, applying the same predicate to the stated participants or an explicitly changed population. Record positive, negative, inapplicable, unknown, or missing-information without assuming that a repeated label identifies the same relation occurrence. A recommendation to test is not that later result.
When the account must be retained or handed on, use only the positions its actual claims and receiving use need:
| Position | Content when used |
|---|---|
| Boundary | HCD Discipline or smaller practice, population and participant meanings, place, period, later Work, qualification window and decision. |
| Subject branch | Admitted Method and grounded actual enactment, or candidate/observed practice with honest materials and Work facts. |
| Cultural claim | One value and predicate, applicability, positive and discriminating negative cases, evidence, intervals and gaps. |
| Participating subjects | Actual carriers, descriptions or candidate materials, publications, Systems, Work, assignments, permissions, authority, access and support relations relied on. |
| Selected intervention or inquiry | Only when selected: credible action-changing hypotheses, alternatives, attainable contribution, whole burden, feasible work, needed authority, reversible change, protection, discriminating observation, and response. No fixed hypothesis count or compulsory new intervention. |
| Separate consequence | The human-capability or later-Work claim actually used, its own HCD evidence and uncertainty, or a clearly proposed benefit; causal reliance needs its separate basis. |
| Decision | continue, revise, branch, replace, stop, or unknown; retained alternatives, population and authority limits, return owners and reopen conditions. |
Return the exact missing Method status, Work, predicate, participant, evidence, authority, provider, specialist, or later-observation result when it blocks the receiving decision or claimed use. Withhold only that dependent result and retain independently supported practice. A supported cultural claim does not fill another missing claim by proximity.
