HCD.22:7 - Conformance Checklist

A usable task description lets the participants and provider identify:

  • the whole task, qualified criteria, target personal actions and any common result;
  • the selected dependence and the contribution it makes to learning;
  • adequate preparation, actual assistance and the handling of unresolved subject questions;
  • action allocation, visibility and personal-work retention appropriate to that purpose;
  • usable transfers between activities, including a recovery for missing or wrong content;
  • feedback that leads to a possible correction and the appropriate personal return;
  • what each available observation establishes and what it leaves open.

Recognizing these features in a design does not establish their enactment. Stronger reliance needs the actual actions, help and results. HCD.11–13 govern personal capability interpretations; a causal learning claim needs its own research basis.
