HCD.24:4.1 - Identify what each side is learning

State whether the reviewer must notice a defect, apply a criterion, compare alternatives, explain a judgement or propose a repair. State whether the author must interpret feedback, challenge a ground, revise or preserve a sound choice. These can be separate targets. HCD.6 supplies a representative task and HCD.11 supplies evidence for a later performance claim.

Select a bounded piece of work that exposes the target. Give its purpose, relevant constraints and permitted source context. A peer can judge whether a recommendation follows from the stated evidence without becoming qualified to approve the entire engineering project. Explicitly return a subject question that exceeds this scope to a capable provider.

Allocate actual help, review and revision windows through HCD.7. Include the learner time to understand another person’s work and the qualified attention needed for calibration and disputes. Reducing expert reading is a possible consequence to test, not the premise that defines the exercise.
