HCD.28:7 - Conformance Checklist

For recognizing a useful design result, check that the recipient can:

  • identify the target work, personal contribution, preparation assumptions and meaningful branches;
  • obtain the subject basis or name its exact unresolved contribution;
  • follow a complete route through task, help, feedback, correction and intended observation;
  • compare serious variants on compatible outcomes and complete burdens;
  • locate actual provider and material dependencies, including peak demand;
  • return to personal comparison, subject development, material repair or supply repair as the finding requires.

Stronger assurance requires the evidence appropriate to the reliance: actual material-use observations, operating provider results, personal performance or research evidence. A complete design account satisfies none of those merely by describing them.
