HCD.9:4.5 - Obtain a Correction and Targeted Retry

Ask the learner to use the feedback: explain the changed relation, revise the action or product, perform the missing check, or state a justified stop. Preserve the correction separately from the provider’s feedback. Then retry the affected requirement.

Use a changed but comparable case when the target includes recognizing applicability, selecting a Method, adapting it, or responding to a decision-bearing condition. Repeating the exact answer may be sufficient only when stable execution of that same operation is the target. Keep requirements already demonstrated unless the new response contradicts them or the changed condition makes them material again.

If several independent gaps cannot be corrected and checked in the available episode, return the unresolved requirements and the smallest additional time, task, provider, or output decision. Do not add hidden practice hours or erase the gap with an aggregate score.
