Library.Reference:9.1.2 - What result are we trying to obtain?

A request for a development office can name a proposed arrangement before anyone has established its useful result. Recover that result first. Does a person need to perform some current work, become able to perform it, organize their own further development, or help others become able to continue? Does a provider need a viable offer, a company need a different capability, or a community need useful participation? These results can depend on each other without being the same.

FPF C.40.OI and C.40.OC help bound the inquiry and characterize the subject and intended change. PSDA.19 bounds help when the adviser, recipient, sponsor and choice owner differ. Their result can be a better bounded inquiry or a qualified stop, not a compulsory programme.

Use Human Capability Development (HCD) when a person must acquire the ability; use an adequate available service when supplied performance is sufficient. Neither route alone establishes self-development. Continue to the connected undertaking only when the receiving work needs that larger result.
