MKT.12:11 - SoTA-Echoing

For choosing an inquiry, the selected line is question-specific construction with explicit limits. Adapt Strategyn’s public ODI account, steps 1–5 for comparing results of an identified activity, and the Christensen Institute’s current JTBD account for reconstructing choice in circumstances. They are useful rival entries for different questions, not interchangeable definitions. This changes §§4.2–4.4. The linked needs explanation and job-map construction inform the coverage challenge in §4.3; its stopping rule remains relative to the receiving decision. Supplier success claims, permanent outcome stability and population-wide causation are not adopted. Reopen the choice when the activity or explanation no longer fits the observed cases.

For cadence and receiving action, adapt Meyer and Schwager, 2007, pp. 6–11: transaction, relationship and exploratory questions call for different arrangements. This historical construction remains useful in §4.5 because a uniform survey misses their different time spans. Keep the later Becker and Jaakkola, 2020, premises 1, 2 and 4 distinction between provider conditions and a customer’s response. The added design effort is justified when that distinction changes the decision; adequate ordinary information is the lighter alternative. These sources do not establish the effectiveness of this combined method.
