MKT.4:4.2 - Locate the condition that changes the next choice
Distinguish the following difficulties before proposing a remedy:
| Observed difficulty | What to establish | Useful response |
|---|---|---|
| The person cannot interpret the proposal. | What result, cost, required work or limit they currently infer. | Explain or repair the offer; return to MKT.2 if its content is inconsistent. |
| The understood offer is unattractive or unsuitable. | Which result, alternative or burden makes it so. | Change the contribution or terms, offer another appropriate option, or accept refusal. |
| Someone cannot make the required commitment. | The missing budget, authority, access or other contribution. | Obtain the competent participant’s answer or retain a conditional hold. |
| Transition disrupts valued current work. | What must be preserved, moved, learned or recovered on failure. | Construct a feasible transition with its responsible suppliers. |
| The chosen acquisition cannot be completed. | The actual failure in quotation, contracting, payment, scheduling or access. | Repair that operation without repeating an already sufficient choice. |
These conditions can coexist. Resolve one without claiming that the others have disappeared. A missing permission may prevent a trial even after its value and price are understood.
