MKT.5:4.3 - Connect the concept to conditions throughout the encounter
Translate the selected concept into the conditions needed to make the proposed encounter possible. Work from the customer’s account in §4.2 and examine the connected contributions:
| Contribution | Construction question |
|---|---|
| Product or service result | What must actually work for the person, and what remains their own work? |
| Physical and digital environment | What access, privacy, orientation and resources does this encounter require? |
| Message and promise | What expectations are created before and during use, including qualifications and timing? |
| Interface and information | What can the person perceive, understand, control and recover from at the needed moment? |
| People’s actions and support | Who helps, decides, responds or resolves an exception, under which conditions? |
| Organisation and partners | What assignment, capacity, incentives and partner contributions make those actions sustainable? |
For each consequential condition, distinguish an existing capability from a proposed change. Name who can supply or decide it and what result is needed. SYSE.2 develops compatible use and system concepts; SYSE.8 joins an offering with its actual or intended providers. They can return a feasible arrangement or a missing contribution, not merely a more attractive description.
Give the responsible practice a concrete request. “Enable the customer to save an incomplete application and resume it with its previous answers” is a design request with a recognizable use. “Be more empathetic” does not establish the interface, staff ability or available time. Operations must arrange performance; HCD can develop a needed capability; organisation change must obtain the relevant assignment and enabling conditions. Marketing coordinates the experience question and consumes those results.
