MKT.5:4.5 - Test the arrangement and investigate the response separately

Select a proportionate use of the arrangement that can expose its live uncertainty. A walkthrough can reveal a missing action or contradiction; a prototype can test understanding and interaction; actual service performance can reveal waiting, support and coordination failures. State which conditions are represented and which remain simulated. A script or prototype does not establish that an operating team can sustain the service.

Observe whether the planned conditions occurred and what the customer experienced. Ask questions appropriate to the concept without supplying the desired answer. For calm independent completion, relevant observations might include successful completion without imposed assistance, points where help was sought, and the person’s account of confidence or anxiety at specified moments. Completion alone cannot establish calmness; reported calmness cannot establish a correct result.

Keep usefulness, effort, experience and later evaluation distinct where they matter. A demanding training session may be useful without being pleasant throughout. A pleasant contact may fail to solve the problem. If a causal claim about the intervention is needed, MKT.10 addresses that question; a satisfied participant after a trial is not sufficient evidence of causation or broad suitability.
