OCE.10:4.3 - Choose a bounded, source-supported intervention

State the intended contribution, supported condition or surviving explanations, mechanism hypothesis, participants, effort, protection and authority, expected first difference, adverse consequence and stop. Choose the actual Method or professional intervention that fits those facts. When several explanations support the same bounded response, retain that uncertainty without inventing a unique cause. A determinant name or a strategy-menu item does not supply the Method.

For a role-understanding difficulty, conduct a working conversation: reconstruct the expected result and limit with the participant; compare them with the person’s goals, concerns and observed task; resolve the actionable misunderstanding or return the unresolved design conflict; agree one next contribution and how feedback will be obtained. OCE.12 can help obtain and sustain this leadership contribution.

For a challenge norm, jointly construct a usable challenge-and-response practice. Name what evidence may be challenged, how a concern reaches the receiving decision, who can respond, what protects a legitimate question, and how useful challenge will be recognized. Practise an actual difficult case so participants can test the challenge, response, and protection conditions.

For a burden, incentive, access or authority conflict, obtain the direct change from the owner who can establish it. Persuasion is not a substitute. For missing capability, obtain qualified demonstration, practice, feedback and later-use evidence. A genuinely new Method account returns through OCE.15 and Method Engineering qualification.
