“The dashboard is green, so the change succeeded.”Recover the receiving decision, omitted consequences and who bears the costs.
“Before is worse than after, so the intervention caused improvement.”Report the qualified contrast and obtain causal support only for the causal use actually needed.
“The averages improved for everyone.”Inspect population reach, exclusions and decision-changing subgroup differences.
“No record means no adverse consequence.”Keep missing observation separate from a measured zero.
“One missing measure invalidates everything.”Stop only the dependent comparison or claim; preserve supported results.
“More data will solve the authority gap.”Return the authority question to its owner; an observation result does not authorize the action.
