OCE.17:10 - Rationale
An OCE practice matters because its distinctions change organization-change action and the result a recipient can use. Its cultural continuation depends on more than a preserved description: practitioners must encounter the move, have conditions for using it, receive meaningful criticism and recognition, and be able to continue in later work.
This makes diagnosis by case comparison practical. A preserved result under a new name, a chart rewarded for the wrong feature and an absent work opportunity lead to different actions. Keeping those differences visible permits both continuity and renewal without treating every change as loss.
