OCE.17:9 - Consequences

Practitioners can retain useful OCE work across changes in vocabulary, tools, teachers and settings, and can repair a specific transmission or recognition difficulty without imposing a generic programme. The account also makes legitimate non-use and missing observation visible.

The cost is access to informative cases and willing, qualified contributions. Some conclusions remain narrow because later work, permission or evidence is absent. That limit is preferable to burdening people with an intervention whose actual target has not been found.
