OCE.17:4.4 - Change the practice relation that matters

Generate a few materially different responses to the supported difficulty. Keeping a useful current variant is one of them. Compare the expected contribution, burden, participation conditions and the observation that could show each response was mistaken.

For a transmission gap, let practitioners compare an actual organization-change result with the deficient example. Make the missing distinction visible in critique, preserve the exact source and a counterexample, and arrange a later opportunity to use it. For example, compare a filled organization chart with a recoverable evidence-supply and receiving-decision relation; ask what each lets the receiving practitioner decide.

For misdirected recognition, change what the group asks contributors to show. A case can be recognized for tracing an actual contribution, exposing an authority limit, comparing serious alternatives or preserving conflicting consequences. Let practitioners challenge the judgement and show why a different form still supplies the result. A facilitator’s permission to change peer feedback is not authority to change an employer’s appraisal, credential or pay rule.

For a single-mentor dependency, obtain another qualified practitioner and a recoverable explanation of the case, including why plausible alternatives failed. A name on a support roster is insufficient: the person must be willing, capable and available for the required contribution.

For an obsolete or defective Method, retain the problem evidence and return it to OCE.15. If the direct Method already contains the needed branch, repair its transmission rather than inventing a new variant. If it does not, a cultural intervention cannot supply the missing reusable answer.

Select a response only within the actual authority and participation conditions. Qualified learning, facilitation, human assessment, employment, service and protection results remain with their direct providers. A bounded case discussion can be useful without claiming to be a complete development intervention.
