OCE.8:8 - Common Anti-Patterns and How to Avoid Them

Anti-patternRepair
“Automate 60 percent of the process.”Name the result and Work, then specify performer/support roles, interfaces, authority, recovery, and evidence for complete candidates.
“Train the current team or outsource.”Complete both ways around capability, access, integration, provider, continuity, and transfer conditions before comparison.
“AI plus a reviewer is safest.”Request the exact safety and authority results; compare human-only, AI-only when admissible, and combined performance at parity.
“The vendor owns the outcome.”Separate supplied Work/result/service, receiving acceptance, retained authority, provider capability, provision, and exit.
“The robot passed the demo.”Require representative Work or a present WorkPlan, applicable safety conditions, actual performers/supports, recovery, and receiving-use evidence.
“Participants chose the hybrid.”Record their decision-bearing evidence or proposal and make the choice under current authority.
“Start the pilot and decide later.”First name the trial DecisionSubject, authority, reversible probe, protected conditions, evidence window, and stop/revert rule.
“OCE.8 selected it, so the new arrangement exists.”Return selected constraints to direct owners and OCE.9; observe actual Work, relations, capability, and results separately.
