RHY.10:4.5 - Try entry, continuation, change and recovery where needed

Use the relevant portion of the passage and the disturbances that matter to the current choice. A stable entry does not answer a tempo-change problem; an aligned ending does not answer an internal coordination problem.

Observe the intended relation along with the continuing sound, movement and partner task. Retain a correction that restores the useful relationship without losing them. If the performers understand the relationship but cannot enact it together, return the particular coordination need to RHY.11 or RHY.12.

Stop when the next performance or practice choice is supported. A local trial may be sufficient. Use RHY.14 for a stronger comparison and RHY.13 for a transfer or retention claim; neither is required merely to retain a familiar useful cue.

Reopen the affected reference, following relation or recovery when the partner, tempo, grouping, cue, equipment or support changes. Keep an unchanged sufficient part.
