RHY.3:4.1 - State what must continue and why

Identify the interval and the contribution that must persist: brush contact that sustains a sound, a movement path that carries the next transition, or another continuing activity needed by the performance.

State its relevant property. “Remain in contact” differs from “maintain audible sound,” and both differ from “remain ready to redirect.” Choose the property consumed by the intended performance. Keep a simpler version without the extra articulation as a reference when it helps.

A direction reversal can belong to a continuous path even though instantaneous speed passes through zero. Do not use constant speed or constant force as a proxy for continuity unless the activity requires that property.
