RHY.3:4.2 - Identify the articulation and ways to produce it
Name what should become distinguishable, to whom and relative to which reference. It might be a heard accent, a pressure change felt by a partner or a direction change visible to an ensemble.
Compare the available ways to produce it. A performer may modulate the existing motion; use another hand or body part; or distribute the sustained and articulated contributions between participants. These are alternatives to test under the present technique and equipment, not a requirement to try every combination.
Keep the shape around the articulation. Preparation, the most salient change and release can all affect the next action. A peak alone often underdescribes what the performer must do.
