RHY.5:2 - Problem
Rhythmic representations distribute information differently. A syllable may indicate a position within a beat, a sound class, or part of a phrase learned through a practice tradition. A hand gesture may maintain a cycle rather than prescribe an accent. A geometric pattern may deliberately ignore where a cycle starts. Choosing by appearance or familiarity alone can conceal a distinction that the work needs.
