RHY.7:4.5 - Return the comparison at its warranted scope

State which alternative has which relevant property, under the common basis. Keep trade-offs visible: one variant may offer clearer reference while another permits a wanted articulation. Preserve a trade-off instead of adding unlike scores to force a single winner.

Where a decision is now possible, C.11 selects among the available alternatives under the user’s preferences and constraints. The rhythmic comparison supplies its inputs. Where a new variant is needed, RHY.8 constructs one. Where a response matters but is still unknown, return that bounded question to RHY.14.

Stop with the comparison needed for the next move, or identify the one missing distinction preventing it. A broader ranking of all rhythms is a different and usually unnecessary claim. When the receiving decision or a condition supporting the comparison changes, reopen only the affected properties and retain unaffected results.
