RHY.9:4.2 - Allocate production and cueing without losing another contribution
Assign the required sound, movement and cue actions to available performers or means. Inspect their overlap in the passage. A hand making a reference gesture may also be needed for an instrumental stroke; a performer reading a score may not see a small peripheral movement.
Choose a concrete repair: expose an existing preparatory movement, change the receiver’s access, move the cue to another available channel, reassign a contribution, or simplify a conflicting articulation. Preserve the rhythmic and stylistic relations the passage needs. More or larger signals are useful only if the receiver can use them without losing another task.
Use familiar, appropriately supported bodily or instrumental actions. If the proposed allocation requires a technique the performer does not have, return that capability question to RHY.12 instead of treating the assignment as its realization.
