STR.12:8 - Common Anti-Patterns and How to Avoid Them

Dashboard command. A colour change reallocates people without a qualified interpretation or decision. Recover the receiving premise and applicable authority.

Late vigilance. An accurate report arrives after an irreversible commitment. Design timing from the last useful response, including interpretation delay.

Missing means green. An unavailable report is treated as proof of continued adequacy. Return the observation gap and its actual effect on reliance.

Pivot as universal virtue. Every new fact produces a new direction. Compare continuation and the costs of changing the arrangement.

Optimism as an obligation to spend. A possible future improvement keeps an unattractive inquiry alive. Apply the same whole-burden comparison to the next inquiry as to other options.
