Follow-up produces a decision-relevant return rather than an undifferentiated alert. Participants can tell what remains usable, what is paused, which question needs renewed judgement and who can decide it.
The method requires enough effort to establish interpretation and response, not merely collection. It may reveal that a promised observation arrangement is infeasible; the commitment must then respect that limit.
