GOALS.Reference:3 - Three applications of the common account

The organizational OKR profile in GOALS.5 uses objectives to express focused changes and key results to express evidence of their achievement. It combines GOALS.1–4 with GOALS.8’s conversations and GOALS.9’s practice development. It also uses the full operating, strategy, leadership and HR methods where their questions arise. Its recurring focus and shared interpretation can help when independent planning hides priorities and dependencies. The organization still carries current service and obligations beyond its displayed improvement agenda.

The human application in GOALS.6 concerns an actual participant’s purposes, adoption of a goal, competing demands and action under the available conditions. A voluntary aspiration, an effective work assignment and a learning opportunity have different participation grounds. The method connects them where appropriate without assuming that a person’s private purpose must equal a corporate objective. Planning, feedback and help are chosen for the particular difficulty.

The AI application in GOALS.7 treats the goal as content used by a configured system with particular tools, state, capabilities and permissions. It permits substantial autonomous performance where those conditions support it. Continuing computation, an apparent confident response and an authorized external effect remain different events. Resumption, completion and escalation need operational grounds in the environment. Human findings about motivation or well-being do not supply those grounds.

Mixed work uses both accounts. A capable agent can provide an analysis or perform an authorized operation directly. If personal mastery is an independently wanted result, preserve the human action and evidence needed for it. If it is unnecessary, compare direct provision against developing that skill. The participants’ actual values and guarantees decide the arrangement; neither compulsory human duplication nor compulsory substitution is part of the general method.
