| shared intention | The result and required contributions the group presently understands itself to be pursuing. |
| actual state | What has been attempted, obtained, misunderstood or left unavailable, at the grain needed for the next action. |
| process cue | A question or suggestion about how to continue the work, distinguished from supplying the subject answer. |
| uptake | Participants’ actual use, adaptation or rejection of the cue; hearing or displaying it establishes less. |
| checked continuation | A changed or retained next action supported by an observation of what happened after the regulation move. |
