HCD.6.1:8 - Common Anti-Patterns and How to Avoid Them

“Just notice it.” Arrange an encounter that makes the relevant contrast accessible and accept a useful response before requiring expert terminology.

The example teaches its decoration. Change color, order, voice, location or another plausible cue while retaining the target relation.

The preparation becomes a ritual. Explain what it enabled in the demonstration and whether it is needed in the later starting condition.

Recognition is counted as execution. Test the next action separately when it requires additional capability.
