Source, dependency and edition notes
LDR.Source:1 - What this text depends on
LDR.1, LDR.2 and LDR.4 identify the three leadership patterns in this publication. B.5.SD supplies the separately published intellectual-answer construction. Cite the framework title, edition and pattern when a particular account matters; a short PatternID assumes that its supplying publication is known.
The four Methods distinguish enabling contribution, feasible agreement, connected subject reasoning, and preparation through first useful performance.
The text uses FPF’s distinction between a method, its description, planned work and performed work; the receiving-result construction in C.39; the several-structure synthesis in C.32.MWA; the cost and inquiry appraisal in C.11.DUA; and the separate evidence boundaries for cultural continuation and causal effects in C.36/C.36.RP and C.28. The source basis is the FPF edition consulted on 11 October 2026; the direct returns below identify the contributions and conditions used here.
The references below return to published methods. They provide descriptions from which a practitioner can obtain a result; citation does not mean that a local result, authorization, capability or agreement has already been produced.
| Relied-on publication and content | Result needed here and receiving use | Use condition and return |
|---|---|---|
| FPF, C.39:4 | A connected way to obtain a missing result; used when B.5.SD lacks an operative subject construction or connection. | Use an adequate direct method when available. Reopen the construction if the receiving result or needed relation changes. |
| FPF C.32.MWA:4 | Distinguishes and relates methods, work, capability and arrangements; used in LDR.1’s allocation of contributions. | Do not infer one method per job or one performer per pattern. A changed performer configuration can require redesign of the whole arrangement. |
| FPF A.3.1.QM — Qualify a Method for Its Intended Contribution | Bounded qualification of a leadership Method or candidate account and its independently decidable local connections after a doubtful use. | Preserve the subject’s status and actual receiving conditions. Retain sufficient current evidence; revise only the failed contribution or select an adequate alternative. OCE.15 supplies construction of an organization-change contribution when that specific question remains. |
| FPF C.11/C.11.DUA:4 and D.4 | A warranted decision or inquiry and value-conflict reasoning; used for alternatives, disputed demands and plural parties. | Retain effective obligations until properly changed. A comparison is not another party’s consent. |
| Organization Change Engineering (OCE), OCE.4–7 and .9–11 | Organizational contribution relations, assignments, coordinated product/organization choices, capability realization, participation inquiry and service/change reconciliation. | Required when the receiving use actually changes or depends on those organizational conditions. A leadership conversation does not supply their results. |
| OCE.18 | Connects a human career transition to actual receiving work, compatible current work, preparation, time and assignment. | Preserve the person’s aims and agreed use of learning observations. Use for that complete organizational question; a leadership-development target alone does not grant an appointment. |
| Human Capability Development (HCD), HCD.1/.3/.4/.7/.8 | Human demand, target, capability profile, provider/access conditions and development of a missing provider capability. | Needed for a human-learning claim. Do not transfer its learning mechanisms to an organization or AI without their own methods. |
| Corporate Governance (CGOV), CGOV.3/.11 | Applicable corporate power and an effective decision with usable conditions. | Use the corporation’s actual rules and adequate existing delegation. Consultation and agreement cannot replace a required act. |
| Community Building (CB), CB.13 | Representation and a workable shared-decision mandate. | Needed where this is missing in a voluntary or member-governed arrangement; no second protocol when an adequate one exists. |
| Systems Engineering (SYSE), SYSE.6/.17/.24 | Engineering architecture choice, affected systems and whole-result alternatives. | Use for engineering subject work. Other domains need their own professional method rather than an engineering label. |
| Operations Management (OPS), OPS.13 | An authorized response to an existing promise or changed commitment. | A proposed new agreement does not automatically cancel a current obligation. |
| FPF C.41.OF — Fit a Checklist to Its Occasion of Use | A checklist fitted to its actual occasion and continuation. | Use when an execution aid helps; the aid does not perform the subject reasoning or repair a missing result. |
| FPF C.36/C.36.RP and C.28 | Cultural-continuation and causal-claim methods. | Required only for the stronger claims; a first contribution supports neither automatically. |
These are one-way content dependencies of this framework. Their availability as descriptions is distinct from the local availability of capable providers, rights, evidence or resources. If the method needed for a current result is unavailable or incompatible with the local conditions, state that missing contribution and revise the proposed use. A title-level dependency is not closure of the practical question.
LDR.Source:2 - Source contributions and evidence limits
The pattern comparisons state the claims that change the methods. The following notes make their boundaries recoverable without turning the sources into a generic reading requirement.
- Organization Change Engineering, historical version of 3 October 2026, OCE.12, supplies the source treatment of adequate ordinary coordination, human-development cost, negotiated whole proposals, substantive integration, proposal preparation and first-use cases.
- R10, Systems Management, 10:2 and the preparation/decision portions of 10:5 supplies working products, trusted advice, proposal preparation and shared start. The present source use is bounded to those connected portions and the already developed OCE account; it is not a review of the whole Guide. The method is taught in LDR.4, so the reader need not reconstruct it from R10. Fixed durations, categorical claims about resistance and claims that all concerns are harmless are not adopted.
- CCL, “What Is Leadership?”, 15 March 2026 supplies a relational conceptual comparison. It does not establish a complete leadership ontology or a measured effect of the three leadership Methods and the supplied answer construction.
- CBI, Mutual Gains Approach brief, 2023 supplies the negotiation comparison used in LDR.2. Its short source account is supplemented by the developed joint-feasibility and receiving-use construction here.
- IAF Core Competencies, revised 6 December 2021 supplies the competent-facilitation alternative for B.5.SD. A professional competency account is not a domain-specific calculation or an effectiveness study.
- AHRQ TeamSTEPPS 3.0 brief, huddle and debrief pages, reviewed in 2023, supply concrete teamwork comparators for LDR.1 and LDR.4. No healthcare outcome estimate or permission is transferred to the constructed non-clinical cases.
- CFIR Opinion Leaders, current guide, supplies the informal-judgement cue and its limits in LDR.4. Identifying influence does not supply the actual advice, representation or agreement.
- “Об фасилитаторов,” 25 May 2020, supplies a diagnostic practitioner criticism used in B.5.SD. Broad empirical claims and categorical conclusions about facilitators are not premises of the method.
Sources linked in a predecessor’s bibliography but not used for a claim here do not silently become evidence for this publication. The conditional cases and arithmetic support the illustrated choices under their stipulated premises. They are not practitioner trials, demonstrations of universal transfer or causal evaluations.
LDR.Source:3 - Series, scope and limits
Series and current edition. The first edition dated 12 October 2026 is the first admitted member of the Leadership product series. Its subject is leadership that helps participants produce joint work, including ordinary work, change and development in organizations, communities and arrangements without a common employer. Negotiation, professional facilitation, human capability development, corporate governance, community management, strategy, implementation support and development practice retain their wider fields and direct methods. The three leadership patterns teach the selected constructions and their connections to intellectual and professional suppliers; they do not absorb those fields.
The contribution beyond the source organization-change frame is made explicit in the no-common-employer cases, ordinary-work non-use boundaries and qualified-AI alternatives. The same conditions are not presumed across all those settings. Authority, consent, capability, resources and evidence are reconstructed for the receiving use.
The following needs are deliberately not supplied by this framework: choosing an organization’s whole strategy or development portfolio; creating every domain’s methods; designing human instruction and assessment from scratch; constituting a community; engineering an AI’s general competence; making legal or clinical determinations; and proving cultural or causal effects. The dependency returns explain how those results enter the leadership work.
Admit a later edition through an explicit decision when its relation to the actual source edition is established and the complete leadership language is qualified for this use. Retain the contribution-to-joint-work purpose and independently useful entries, sufficient ordinary coordination, real authority and consent, actual capability and joint resource demands, and qualified human/AI allocation. Refinement, splitting or redistribution must preserve useful operations and qualified suppliers or provide qualified replacements. Correct false claims and mistaken boundaries. Source derivation alone does not admit an edition. Replacing this purpose with one of the wider neighboring practices identifies another series.
Review the affected admission or use when a governing distinction or relied-on source changes, a required contribution becomes unavailable, or use exposes a consequential failure. Loss of qualification calls for a warning and a decision about repair, withdrawal of recommendation or retirement. Superseded, unavailable or retired editions retain their historical membership while the series continues; a false admission claim requires correction. Retire the series by an explicit decision when its field and use will no longer be served or when repair after qualification loss is declined. Retirement ends its current belonging occurrences while preserving past facts; a later active collection requires a new constitution. A change of title, publication home, Suite membership or maintenance alone leaves the series identity unchanged. The constitution establishes no maintenance service, future edition or uninterrupted availability.
LDR.Source:4 - Refresh and practical feedback
Reopen the affected contribution when a direct supplier changes a relied-on method or condition, when a professional alternative supplies a better answer at comparable effort, or when use exposes a missing operation. A change in AI competence, cost or permitted mandate can reopen the whole performer arrangement, not merely the tool choice.
Useful feedback identifies the receiving question, what the text enabled, the operation the practitioner still had to invent, the conditions of the attempted use and the consequence of that gap. A successful example does not settle unrelated settings; a failed prerequisite does not by itself refute a method used outside its conditions.
The Readme contains four ordinary practical entries: MISSING-HELP, WHOLE-AGREEMENT, UNANSWERED-QUESTION and the extended joint-use example JOINT-START. Use their situation and missing contribution to choose an entry; return to the complete Method for the explanation needed to adapt it.
The publication’s explanation, examples and returns are the usable method account.
