MKT.3:4.3 - Construct a message whose inferred promise is supportable
Build the message around a recognizable situation and a supported contribution. Give the recipient enough context to understand why it may matter, why the claim deserves consideration and what to do next. Keep a consequential limitation with the claim it qualifies. A short invitation can link to details, but it must not depend on those details to reverse its main promise.
Check the actual expression in its intended format. A heading, illustration, category or omitted condition can imply more than the literal sentence. Compare what the recipient is likely to infer with the offer and supplier’s actual ability. Replace an overstated implication or change the contribution through its responsible practice. Presenting an assisted trial as unattended automation changes the inferred offer even when the small print mentions assistance.
When an intermediary combines, omits or generates material, use the intermediary application to construct a supportable family of expressions with actual controls, observations and receiving work. Approval of separate elements or one preview does not qualify every permitted combination.
Adapt the explanation to the role without inventing different commitments. A purchaser may need scope and consideration, a user may need the required work, and an access authority may need the conditions of a trial. Each should be able to recover a compatible proposal. When an important distinction is unfamiliar, use a concrete comparison rather than more promotional adjectives.
