MKT.4:4.4 - Construct the transition or bounded trial
Identify what must change from the current situation to usable supply: data or material preparation, access, handover, scheduling, installation, human learning, customer work and support. Ask which of these must precede use, which can occur independently and which share a scarce resource. Assign an attainable next action and receiving result; do not merely list departments.
Preserve valued current work until the selected change supports replacing it. The needed arrangement can be a parallel limited use, a staged switch, a smaller scope or continuation of the existing service. Its suitability depends on the actual service and constraints; a generic “free trial” does not decide them.
For a trial, state the unresolved question, permitted work and data, responsible participants, resource limit, observation, end and next choice. The trial should be able to return an unfavourable or inconclusive answer. Agree any continuing obligations explicitly instead of treating participation as an indefinite commitment. If the required preparation or safe return cannot be supplied, revise the proposed trial or stop it.
Use the actual supplying practices: engineering for a changed technical arrangement, Operations for executable work and capacity, OCE for organisational changes, HCD for needed human capability. Send each a bounded request such as “establish whether this permitted sample can be processed and inspected in the trial window”. Consume the returned condition in the choice. A promised later answer does not satisfy the current prerequisite.
