MKT.6:4.4 - Join access, capability, actual work and help

Construct the route from the acquired contribution to the receiving result. Work through a representative use: what must be available, what the customer does, what the supplier does, what a partner provides, and where a decision or exception can stop progress. Give each consequential gap a concrete request and an appropriate receiving practice.

GapNeeded contribution
The required product or service does not exist.Engineering develops a feasible contribution and the conditions of its supply.
A required enabling condition is unavailable: materials, system access, working time or a decision from an authorized person. The responsible authority or organisation obtains the specific enabling condition.
A person cannot yet perform the required activity.HCD develops the needed capability with suitable practice and evidence of performance.
A known action or service is not being carried out.Operations arranges the actual work, performer and continuation.
Several people’s work conflicts or is unassigned.Organisation change and the responsible managers establish compatible roles and conditions.
The useful result or its grounds remain unknown. The relevant participants resolve the choice, or MKT.12 qualifies the needed inquiry.

Specify help around the actual point of difficulty. Identify how the customer can recognize the need, reach competent assistance and continue or stop while waiting. A help article can explain an action; it does not establish that the user can perform it, has permission or has time. Escalating every problem to training can hide missing design, access or capacity.

Set the effort at a level the parties can sustain. Preserve the customer’s own necessary work and the supplier’s obligations. Making the supplier silently perform all practice can produce a finished artifact while leaving the customer’s intended capability unchanged. Conversely, assigning an unavailable supplier contribution to the customer by calling it “engagement” does not repair the service.
