RHY.8:2 - Problem

A transformation preserves some properties while changing others. Moving attacks can disturb an entrance cue; enlarging a phrase can move its ending; preserving the total duration can still demand more rapid actions than the performer can make. A valid manipulation of a score may therefore give an unsuitable passage.

The problem is to construct the wanted difference together with the relations that must survive, then return the variant to the actual performance.
