MKT.11:4.3 - Join the contributions and resolve the whole conflict

Check the connections from the receiving result through the actual work. For every consequential handover, establish what the receiving party obtains, what makes it usable, who notices an absent or unsuitable result and what continuation follows. Include responsibility for helping the customer when the failure spans teams.

Compare the combined demand at the times and resources that can constrain the promise. Count preparation, customer-specific work, coordination, help, exception handling and recovery as well as the visible delivery. Keep unlike resources separate. Two teams’ total hours do not establish availability of the one specialist needed at a particular moment.

When contributions conflict, compare feasible alternatives: change scope or time, choose another provider, obtain a missing capability or access condition, change the arrangement, or decline the unsupported promise. Use ME.6 when the choice concerns incompatible combinations of methods, work or allocation. Use the returned comparison where it is sufficient instead of repeating it as another marketing exercise.

Obtain the decisions that make the selected arrangement effective. Then align the offer, invitation, customer-facing interface and staff explanation with its actual scope. A contradictory old invitation can continue to create expectations after the internal plan changes; revise the affected expression and address already made commitments through their applicable terms.
