MKT.14:4.4 - Join each opportunity to its next meaningful action
For every live opportunity, identify the next useful result and who can act on it. One customer may need to understand whether the offer fits; another may already have chosen it and need an input permission. A common sign of interest can therefore lead to different actions. Keep simultaneously true conditions visible instead of placing the entire organisation at one funnel stage.
Use MKT.3 for a suitable contact and meaningful response, MKT.4 for choice and acquisition, MKT.6 for obtaining the useful result, and MKT.7 for continuation, restoration or ending. The programme relates these contributions across opportunities; it does not replace them with a count of meetings.
Obtain effective contributors through MKT.11. Agree how a response reaches the person who can continue it, what information that person needs, and what happens if the promised work is unavailable. Reconcile calendars, specialist access and overlapping contacts from different teams. A marketing interaction should not create a promise the receiving sales or service team cannot support.
When software selects or performs actions, specify the needed information, selection conditions, permitted action and receiving result. Check behaviour when information is missing, stale or contradictory and when an exception exceeds the prepared variants. The programme can use automation only to the extent that those conditions and its actual receiving work are supported.
