MKT.14:5 - Archetypal Grounding

MKT.14:5.1 - Four opportunities in three organisations

In this constructed case, a provider considers Sever, Vector and Luch. Inquiry with the relevant participants and sample work reveals four opportunities. Sever’s first department and Vector can use a supported batch-file analysis trial. Sever’s second department and Luch require continuous integration that the provider cannot yet supply. The desired two-week programme result is two supported limited trials and two reasoned decisions about the missing integration contribution.

The first two opportunities share a useful basis: compatible permitted input formats, a limited batch result and a return condition: a rejected sample must be replaced by a permitted compatible one before scheduling. Their data-use permissions and commitments remain separate. The other two receive a scoped engineering question and a time for returning the answer; they do not receive an invitation that promises the unavailable integration. A trial for Sever’s first department says nothing by itself about the second department’s opportunity.

The provider can reuse an anonymised demonstration, the explanation of its observation conditions, and preparation of the two customer-facing teams. Each customer retains its own sample, permission, agreed result, price, responsible participants and stopping condition. MKT.9 supplies the actual trial variant; MKT.11 joins it to the receiving analysts and support.

The team compares complete alternatives for the same result. Forty additional person-hours are available over the two-week window after continuing service has been accounted for. The following numbers are illustrative planning inputs, not an empirical claim about account-based marketing.

Required work for the same programme resultIndividual preparationShared preparation
Scenario, material, trial explanation and preparation of the client-facing teams2 × 8 = 16 hours10 hours
Qualification of three organisations and the integration exceptions9 hours9 hours
Adaptation, performance and support of two trials2 × 6 = 12 hours12 hours
Coordination, handover and updates through the window7 hours9 hours
Total44 hours40 hours

Sharing saves six hours of preparation while adding two hours of coordination, a net saving of four. The individual alternative needs four more hours or a revised window. The shared alternative reaches the available ceiling without reserve. It can be chosen only after the relevant people confirm compatible timing, adequate capability, effective permissions and actual allocation. The hours comparison establishes neither profitability nor customer benefit; MA.8 and the trials answer their respective questions.

Suppose an additional mandatory exception would require eight hours. The shared alternative now needs 48 hours. The team reduces scope by agreement, reschedules or obtains another qualified contribution before making the affected promise. Automatically generating cheaper emails does not remove the missing eight hours of actual work.

Other changes reopen different parts. If Vector still wants the limited trial but requires different customer-local preparation, obtain the feasible preparation conditions and rebuild the complete programme comparison. If Vector instead refuses the service method or its required data use, reopen the opportunity and offer before deciding whether a trial remains possible. If Luch later obtains the missing integration contribution, it can return for selection and capacity qualification; availability alone does not put it into the current two trials. If one trial succeeds, the other opportunities retain their own evidence and continuation.

MKT.14:5.2 - Repeatable actions with different receiving work

A wider programme maintains reliable information about named organisations and prepares three actions: clarify suitability, arrange an already chosen trial, or return a delivery exception. A new interest signal is a reason to inspect the opportunity, not proof of need or purchase intent. Staff use the current customer’s work and conditions to choose the action. Where the relevant information is absent, they obtain it or stop the dependent action. Expansion requires capacity for all three continuations and for keeping the information current, not only capacity to send more messages.

MKT.14:5.3 - An educational community and an employer are different participants

A learning community may help an employer explore a commercial offer for a particular work result. That programme concerns the employer’s opportunity and agreed contributions. A learner’s development and voluntary participation in the community retain their own purposes and conditions. Common educational material can be reused where appropriate, but participation does not imply purchasing authority or consent to an employer programme. HCD and Community Building supply their actual results; MKT.14 joins only the commercial work that has a justified place.
