Edition and use
This is the Marketing Principles Framework’s first edition, comprising MKT.1–14 and the common account and applications in this publication. MKT is its public reference code. Numeric locators remain stable when titles or reading placement change. Cite the framework, pattern or section and the edition used; the order of the Table of Contents is a reading aid, not a compulsory work sequence.
The publication supports a prepared practitioner who can obtain the named domain contributions. A suitable task, explanation and supported practice can be developed with HCD for a different audience. If a required contribution is inaccessible, obtain another adequate source or defer the dependent action.
Direct framework returns
The foundation used is FPF, September 2026, with the named current contributions explained in the pattern bodies. Direct DPF returns below identify the receiving use as well as the publication. A supplier’s subsequent revision reopens a dependent use when its relied-on meaning or conditions change, rather than merely when its date changes.
| Publication and consumed state | Relied-on contribution and return |
|---|---|
| FPF, September 2026 foundation | Method, performance, evidence and composition distinctions; C.28.CM for the causal question and B.1.5.EW/RS for simultaneous composition and replacement. Follow the named body from the receiving MKT pattern. |
| Human Capability Development, 28 September 2026, twenty-nine-pattern edition | HCD.28 learning-product construction; HCD.2 personal programmes; selected HCD.20–27 joint learning; the linked performance, transfer and retention methods retain their own conditions. |
| Community Building, First edition, published 27 September 2026 | Useful exchange and participation, provision and terms, mandate and shared repertoire. The learning application consumes the specified CB.2/3/5/9/13/14 contributions. |
| Systems Engineering, 26 September 2026, and Method Engineering, 20 September 2026 | SYSE.2/8 and ME.6 construct use, offering, provider arrangement and compatible performance. |
| Organization Change Engineering and Operations Management, both 20 September 2026 | OCE.6/11 and OPS.6 supply assignments, coexistence with service and actual continuation. Their wider search contributions are developed in the Suite Reference. |
| Strategy, First edition, 20 September 2026; Management Accounting, MA 1.0 | Sustained contribution and economic alternatives with dated demands, resources and payments. |
| Development Opportunity Construction and Development Direction Advising, amended release 20 September 2026; Research Method Practice, 27 September 2026; Economic Reasoning and Coordination, 22 September 2026 | The directly used contributions retain their question, evidence and exchange boundaries in MKT.1/6/7/12. |
MKT.10 also uses MMP.15 from Mathematical Modeling, 22 September 2026, for identification of an intervention effect. The model, identification, estimation and economic-use questions retain their distinct conditions.
Each MKT body’s source discussion gives the qualified external return, adopted or adapted contribution and important limit. Historical sources are used as historical anchors where named. For a stronger research or measurement use, return to the original material and establish that it supplies the needed method and evidence.
Refresh the affected use
Begin with the changed fact and the decision it could alter. A new customer role, lost permission, unavailable provider, different population, failed causal assumption or changed cash date calls for a different return. Follow the actual dependency to the affected offer, explanation, preparation, assignment or programme. Preserve unchanged local results and tell receivers which condition has changed before their next reliant action.
If a common source claim fails, inspect the methods and applications that depend on it. If only one organisation changes its data conditions, revise that opportunity and the common-work comparison it affects. A practical result may remain usable while a stronger generalisation is withdrawn. Keep the scope of both explicit.
