HCD-CONTINUATION - Keep a useful arrangement while its conditions change

Situation: Development already has useful results, but later work, support or a claim about a development method changes.

Question: What should continue for this person, and does the change also affect the method repertoire or a group’s development practice?

First useful result or blocker: A continuing arrangement for the person, a decision to retain, revise or stop a specified use of a development method, or a decision about a specified cultural relation. Each uses evidence appropriate to its own question.

Start with: HCD.15 - Sustain Continuing Human Capability Development for the person’s continuing development, using current work and evidence, including an applicable HCD.14 revision. Open a repertoire or culture question only when that is the affected object.

Stop or return: Continue what remains adequate. Return a missing allocation to its owner; retain an unresolved comparison when its proposed investigation is not feasible. A change to one use does not by itself establish a population-wide effect.

  1. Locate what changed and what can be retained. The constructed APP-HCD-03 preserves practice in tracing a release claim to its supporting evidence and referring safety or maintenance questions to the relevant specialist, while proposing a replacement for one cue-led correction exercise. HCD.15 uses that result to specify relevant cases, help, responsible providers and reopening conditions for the person. Until the needed learner and provider time is allocated, the affected practice cannot be arranged; the useful prior result remains available.
  2. Carry evidence to the method claim only when it fits. HCD.16 - Keep Human Capability-Development Method Claims Current can use compatible observations from continuing development to retain a supported use or narrow a claim. In the example, retain the method for practising evidence tracing and specialist referral through attempts, feedback, correction and retry. The available result supports performance with help; its contribution to independent learning remains unresolved. The proposed comparison needs three learner hours and two provider hours; only half a provider hour is available. Its useful return is the narrower claim and unresolved comparison. A later resource window may make the probe worthwhile; selecting it supplies no result.
  3. Distinguish a group’s continuation question. HCD.17 - Deliberately Continue and Change Human Capability-Development Culture asks about the specified transmission, receiving use, recognition or retention of practice within a population. Its example observes receiving trainers using a teaching sequence after combined preparation and coaching. Reducing trainer coaching changes that basis: a feasible, authorized comparison can support a branch proposal, while the trainers’ later use and the learners’ performance remain separate observations. The person’s performance conclusion alone does not answer this cultural question.
