MDPE.15 - Make and Test a Local Music-or-Dance Practice Change
Type: DPF pattern body
Primary working result: a local practice-change result account for one already-selected Music-or-Dance change. The account identifies the decision used, performed Work, changed subject or failed attempt, direct result, bounded trial observations and limits, and the later-evidence question.
MDPE.15:0 - Use This When
Use this pattern when a Music-or-Dance project has already selected one feasible local change and now needs to make and test it without turning a proposal into an accomplishment or one trial into a cultural claim. Examples of such changes include:
- musical or movement material;
- one performance, teaching, rehearsal, improvisation, composition, choreography, arrangement, or control Method;
- a performing capability or a support arrangement for that capability;
- an instrument, body interface, robot, software tool, venue, or other enabling System;
- a performing-whole, event, class, curation, recognition, or selection arrangement; or
- a bounded repertoire or practice variant retained for later transmission or comparison.
Start only when one change has been chosen through C.11, MDPE.6, MDPE.7, a bounded change decision from MDPE.13 or MDPE.14, or an applicable direct Music, Dance, teaching, production, event, or engineering decision Method. A capable Agent must perform representative Work that enacts the direct Method used to make and test the selected change.
A short first-use mantra is:
[Practice-developing Agent] will use [direct change Method] in [bounded Work] to change [named practice subject in starting configuration] toward [intended direct result], while protecting [named characteristics and affected Systems] and observing [bounded trial question]. If an assignment changes the decision, [declared assignment species] relates that Agent to [local system role] through [direct predicate]; attribute any dated Work performed under that assignment separately. A named
ChoiceResultmade by [DecisionSubject] under [decision-authority relation] selects [named option or change]; permission, consent, capability, resources, and safety conditions for the Work are stated separately.
This mantra helps a practitioner notice the required objects and relations. The order of its fields is not a WorkPlan and does not establish the order of performed Work. If the sentence cannot be completed, return the missing choice, authority, permission, Method, capability, resource, subject, configuration, evidence, or relation and the Work it blocks.
The practical gain is a usable account of performed change Work and an observed changed subject, partial change, or failed attempt, contrasted with a proposal or plan. A later practitioner can tell what was chosen, who acted, what Work occurred, what subject changed, what direct result appeared, what was merely observed, and which claim still needs later evidence.
Use the direct domain Method without this pattern when it already returns that complete result for the present decision. Do not use this pattern when:
- the change still has to be chosen—use
C.11,MDPE.6,MDPE.7, or the direct decision Method; - a practice conflict still needs comparison or a decision—use
MDPE.14; return here only when it selects one feasible local change and representative trial, or a named DecisionSubject makes another bounded ChoiceResult that selects the change; - the present task is only planning or tool-call sequencing—use the applicable planning Method,
A.15.2, orC.24; - the task is only to develop performer capability—use
MDPE.10or Human Capability Development; - the task is to obtain receiving enactment by another Agent—use
MDPE.17; - the task is to establish recognition, selection, retention, spread, or loss in a population—use
C.36and the applicable later MDPE pattern; or - no Work can be performed and the current result can only be a possible-future description.
MDPE.15:0.1 - Precision Restoration
Restore these distinctions before relying on change language.
| Word or phrase | Recover before relying on it |
|---|---|
| selected change | The ChoiceResult or direct decision, its DecisionSubject, selected option, basis, scope, authority boundary, and conditions. A preferred idea or proposal is not a selected change. |
| practice-developing Agent | An admitted Agent that performs the attributed development Work. If role wording is ambiguous, E.10.ROLE recovers the intended claim. A.2.1 governs an obtaining occurrence of a declared assignment species; F.6 governs attribution when dated Work is performed under that assignment. Assignment does not establish agency, capability, authority, permission, consent, resources, or successful Work. |
| authority and permission | Separate obtaining relations. Decision authority supports the bounded choice under its applicable direct governor. A.2.8.PER governs permission and non-prohibition for the relevant action. Skill, authorship, ownership, contribution, fame, a role label, or audience response establishes neither. |
| practice subject | The particular Method, material, description, capability holder, tool, performing configuration, teaching arrangement, event arrangement, recognition arrangement, repertoire element, or other subject intended to change. Practice is not one universal object. |
| change Work | One dated U.Work occurrence performed by a capable Agent and enacting an applicable change Method, with its extent, inputs, conditions, and supporting Systems recoverable. A WorkPlan or record is not the Work. |
| trial or evaluation Work | Separate Work that obtains observations about the changed subject or its use. It can overlap change Work, follow it, or be absent; state the obtaining relation instead of assuming one process. |
| actual change | A supported U.Transformation or other governed world-side change between identified starting and later conditions. A changed description, declaration, or dashboard does not by itself establish it. |
| direct result | The immediate result attributable under the change Method and evidence—for example, an edited arrangement, changed cue relation, installed tool setting, or revised class arrangement. |
| observation | Evidence obtained by named observation, rehearsal, listening, movement-analysis, sensing, inquiry, or comparison Work. An observation is not automatically an effect or value judgement. |
| effect | A supported consequence relation from the intervention or changed subject to another changed characteristic or System under stated conditions. Temporal succession alone is insufficient. |
| local practice change | A bounded change within one project, class, event, ensemble, pair, tool, school, organization, or other named scope. It establishes no population-wide cultural relation by itself. |
A MethodDescription can be edited while the Method remains unchanged, or a Method can change while no adequate description exists. A performer can gain capability while the teaching Method stays unchanged. An artifact can change while the practice that uses it does not. Name the subject whose identity and characteristics carry the claim.
MDPE.15:1 - Problem Frame
Music and Dance projects often make change look easier than it is. A score is edited, a phrase is renamed, a robot gains a technical ability, a class receives a new exercise, or a competition publishes a new rule. The visible artifact then stands in for a changed Method, changed performance, improved capability, or changed culture.
The opposite error is equally common: useful local Work is dismissed because it did not transform a whole scene. A bounded local change can be valuable without proving transmission or retention. The needed result is an account of one selected change, the Work that attempted it, the actual subject and direct result, the bounded trial evidence, and what remains open.
MDPE.15:2 - Problem
Five substitutions make local practice development unreliable.
- Choice-for-change substitution. A decision or proposal is reported as though the subject already changed.
- Plan-for-Work substitution. A schedule, checklist, prompt, score annotation, or call plan is reported as performed Work.
- Artifact-for-practice substitution. A new description, recording, model, or tool version is reported as a changed Method, capability, performance, or practice.
- Observation-for-effect substitution. A liked rehearsal, higher technical reading, or later event is attributed to the change without the needed relation and comparison.
- Local-for-cultural substitution. One project intervention is reported as transmission, recognition, selection, retention, spread, or attractor movement in a practitioner population.
These substitutions make failed attempts disappear, hide moved burdens, and prevent later practitioners from knowing what can be reused.
MDPE.15:3 - Forces
| Force | Tension to preserve |
|---|---|
| Action vs truthful entry | The project needs to act; the selected change, authority, subject, Method, and conditions must still obtain at execution time. |
| Small trial vs representative use | A bounded trial keeps cost and risk manageable; an over-sheltered trial may say little about intended performance Work. |
| Direct result vs wider effect | Immediate results can often be observed; performer, audience, event, and cultural effects need separate relations and evidence. |
| Change vs continuity | A useful variant must change enough to answer the question while preserving identity, safety, consent, source return, and alternatives that the decision protects. |
| Work integration vs ontic separation | Change and trial can be coordinated in one project, but choice, authority, WorkPlan, Work, transformation, result, evidence, and effect remain different things. |
| Local agency vs distributed culture | A practice-developing Agent can alter a local arrangement; receiving practitioners and cultural selection are not under that Agent’s control. |
| Success visibility vs failed-attempt learning | A changed artifact is easy to show; a failed or partial transformation can contain the more decision-relevant result. |
MDPE.15:4 - Solution
A capable Agent performs Work that enacts the applicable direct Method to make the selected local change. Observation Work obtains a bounded trial result. Use this pattern to prepare an account that distinguishes the objects and relations involved. The numbered subsections explain the MethodDescription; they are not a WorkPlan, and actual Work can follow a different order.
The load-bearing relations differ. The decision selecting the change must still apply; its authority and permission relations must obtain; and the needed capability, resources, and safety conditions must be present when change Work begins. That Work can produce a changed subject, a new variant, a partial change, or a failed attempt. Reidentification compares the starting and later subject. Trial Work can overlap change Work, follow it, or remain independent. An effect claim additionally needs a suitable comparison or causal Method; a result account relies only on the observations and relations actually obtained. Later cultural continuation remains a different question.
When the applicable Method contains branches, joins, returns, cycles, or several live continuations, represent that unfolding with A.22.CGUS; the traversal below is only one demonstrative slice. A causal graph used through C.29 represents causal claims or hypotheses; C.28 governs the evidence needed for their intended use. The graph does not command action. An acausal constraint model can preserve relations without choosing a calculation or action direction.
MDPE.15:4.1 - Admit one selected and still-feasible change
Identify:
- the decision source, selected option,
DecisionSubject, and applicable direct authority relation; - the practice-developing Agent that can perform the change Work, the declared
A.2.1assignment species and obtaining occurrence when assignment changes the decision, and theF.6Work attribution when that Work occurs; - permission, consent, safety, access, and resource conditions for the Work;
- the changed practice subject and its starting configuration;
- the intended direct result and present use;
- the direct change Method; and
- the smallest observation that could change the next decision.
Recheck these values immediately before Work. A choice, authority relation, permission, consent, capability claim, or resource commitment established for one subject and configuration does not extend automatically to different participants, a new venue, another robot edition, or a wider cultural intervention. If the selected change no longer satisfies these conditions, return to the DecisionSubject instead of silently revising the option during implementation.
MDPE.15:4.2 - State what will and will not change
Describe the target through its own kind and identity conditions. Useful subjects include:
- a named musical or movement-material entity;
- one Method or Method part whose identity continues through the change;
- a new Method variant related to, but not identical with, its source;
- one MethodDescription or performance description;
- a capability of one human, robot, AI, pair, ensemble, or hybrid holder;
- one instrument, body interface, software, robot, venue, or enabling configuration;
- one teaching, rehearsal, performance, event, curation, recognition, or selection arrangement; or
- one locally maintained repertoire member or branch.
State protected characteristics and boundaries. For a Dance change these may include weight transfer, partner-readable pressure, effort, balance, floorcraft, consent, rhythmic interpretation, style-bearing distinctions, and bodily variability. For a Music change they may include pitch, rhythm, pulse, timbre, articulation, breath, gesture, ensemble cueing, latency, performer control, and musical plausibility. Select only those that can change the present decision.
MDPE.15:4.3 - Prepare only the plan the Work needs
Use A.15.2 when a U.WorkPlan is needed. Keep it small enough to expose:
- the performing Agents, any decision-bearing
A.2.1assignments, and supporting non-agent Systems; - the selected change and direct Method;
- required material, tools, venue, bodies, instruments, software, or data;
- safety, consent, access, stop, and rollback conditions;
- the relation between change Work and any trial or evaluation Work;
- the observations and evidence to retain; and
- the next decision that may use the result.
Use C.24 only when tool or call planning is current. A useful plan remains an episteme and never establishes that Work occurred.
MDPE.15:4.4 - Perform the change Work under the direct Method
Identify the dated U.Work occurrence, performing Agent, enacted Method, inputs, conditions, and direct outputs. The Agent performs Work that enacts the applicable domain Method—for example, composition, arrangement, choreography, translation, teaching, rehearsal, somatic practice, instrument setup, control, software development, event production, curation, or recognition-arrangement design—and that Work changes the identified subject.
If current facts change a live execution branch, A.15.7 can help choose one bounded next action under the already-admitted Method. It does not replace the prior change decision.
When the Work stops or only partly succeeds, preserve that result. Name the stopped condition, actual output, unchanged or partly changed subject, recoverable state, and next safe action.
MDPE.15:4.5 - Reidentify the subject after Work
Compare the starting and later conditions under A.3.4 or the direct governor of the change. Ask:
- Did the intended subject actually change?
- Does its identity continue, or did Work produce a new variant or artifact?
- Which relation supports the claimed transformation?
- Which characteristics changed, stayed within bounds, or became unknown?
- Did another subject change instead—for example, only the description, tool setting, performer capability, or event arrangement?
Report the subject that actually changed. If the class plan changed but teaching Work did not, report the plan change. If the dancer enacted a phrase once but capability transfer was not tested, report the occurrence and observation. If software changed but the robot did not perform under the intended conditions, report the software result and missing trial.
MDPE.15:4.6 - Obtain a bounded trial and keep its Work separate
Choose trial conditions representative enough for the decision and safe enough for the current change. Identify:
- the tested subject and configuration;
- the performer and observer Systems;
- the trial or evaluation Method;
- obtaining relation to the changed subject;
- relevant environment, audience, partner, instrument, venue, tempo, media, or platform conditions;
- observations, uncertainty, and missing witnesses; and
- protected characteristics and stop conditions.
Change Work and trial Work may overlap—for example, a dancer adjusts a partnering cue during a supervised trial—or occur separately, as when an arrangement is edited and later rehearsed. State their temporal relation separately from any part–whole relation. A trial can be a constituent of larger change Work when its performance contributes to that encompassing work; explain the connection using B.1.5.EW. Overlap or succession alone does not establish it.
MDPE.15:4.7 - Separate direct result, observation, and effect
Return only the strongest supported statement.
| Available relation | Supported statement |
|---|---|
| Work produced an identified artifact or configuration | State that direct result and its source Work. |
| Starting and later conditions support a transformation | State the actual changed subject and transformation relation. |
| Trial Work produced observations | State the observations, witnesses, conditions, uncertainty, and limits. |
| A suitable comparison or causal Method supports a consequence | State the bounded effect and the relation that supports it. |
| Only temporal order or participant judgement is available | State succession or judgement; do not upgrade it to effect. |
| No representative trial occurred | State the direct result and the missing trial; do not infer intended-use fitness. |
Use practitioner judgement as evidence when the practitioner, question, basis, conditions, uncertainty, and update condition are visible. Do not replace direct use evidence with press attention, university publication, standard conformance, platform reach, or a technical score.
MDPE.15:4.8 - Return the local practice-change result account
Return a readable account containing:
Local Music-or-Dance practice-change result account:
selected change and decision source:
DecisionSubject, practice-developing Agent, authority, and permission:
changed practice subject and starting configuration:
direct change Method:
performed change Work:
changed subject, new variant, or failed attempt:
direct result:
separate trial or evaluation Work and its relation to change Work:
bounded observations, affected Systems, and limits:
supported effect, if any:
protected characteristics, losses, and residual conflict:
retained alternatives and rollback or source return:
later-evidence question:
next decision and reopen condition:
This optional writing aid describes the named objects and relations. The account records evidence about the attempted Work and any resulting change.
If the change cannot lawfully proceed, return an unavailable-change statement naming:
- the missing choice, authority, permission, capability, Method, resource, evidence, configuration, or relation;
- the change Work or development decision it prevents;
- any safe partial result already obtained; and
- an observable retry condition.
MDPE.15:4.9 - Keep the later cultural question open
One local change can supply a Method or repertoire input to MDPE.17, an observation to MDPE.12, a revision to MDPE.14, or evidence to MDPE.7. It does not establish that another practitioner can perform representative Work that enacts the Method, that a population recognizes or selects the variant, or that the variant is retained. State the smallest later question explicitly.
MDPE.15:4.10 - What Changes in Practice
Before this pattern, a project can show a new score, phrase, class, rule, tool, or technical result and say the practice improved. After it, the project can identify the decision, actual Work, changed subject or failed attempt, direct result, bounded trial evidence, moved burden, and the cultural claim that remains open. Failed and partial changes become reusable evidence instead of disappearing from the development story.
MDPE.15:5 - Worked Cases and Boundaries
MDPE.15:5.1 - Music arrangement: perform the selected revision, then rehearse it
Here then names an actual relation in this case: the revised arrangement must exist before that edition can be rehearsed. It is not a universal order for change Work and trial Work.
MDPE.6 contains a source-grounded constructed replay in which an automated monophonic arrangement preserves rhythm, durations, rests, bar lines, playable ranges, and rhythmic entries, while a rehearsal exposes a masked antiphonal relation. The lawful choice is revise before use: adjust dynamics and one voice allocation.
MDPE.15 starts after that choice. The capable arranger or production team performs the selected revision. Identify a development-role assignment when the Work is attributed under it. A named ChoiceResult made by a named DecisionSubject under a separate authority relation selects the revision; permission and consent for the Work are checked separately. Arrangement Work under the applicable Music Method edits the identified score and produces a new arrangement artifact or version. In a later rehearsal, the intended singer and instrumentalists perform the rehearsal Work. A named observer, such as the arranger or rehearsal leader, performs observation Work and records antiphonal clarity, balance, breath, cueing, articulation, and playability under stated room and performer conditions.
The result account can state that the arrangement artifact changed and that the bounded rehearsal supported or failed the antiphonal criterion. It cannot state that the ensemble acquired durable capability, that a concert succeeded, or that a musical practice spread. If the rehearsal never occurs, the correct result is the edited artifact plus the missing representative trial.
MDPE.15:5.2 - Dance translation: preserve source and receiving branches
The MDPE.6 Dance replay uses Stopgap’s direct inclusive-choreography contribution to frame a selected branch response for a phrase under changed physicality. The change subject is not an abstract choreography. It is the identified receiving phrase or its description, related to a source phrase and intended pair.
Choreography or translation Work performed by a capable Agent under the stated authority, permission, consent, and source-use conditions produces a receiving branch while retaining source return. During the pair trial, the dancers perform representative Dance Work while a named observer performs observation Work and records effort, elevation, contact geometry, timing, partner-readable cueing, and intended expressive use. The result can support the changed phrase branch and its bounded use. It does not erase the source, make both phrases one identity, establish another dancer’s capability, or prove scene-level recognition.
If the selected branch lacks permission to alter the identified source material, create the receiving variant, or change the named source-to-receiving relation, return unavailable change even when the branch is technically performable. If the branch also calls for making a selected source or lineage-account episteme edition available, name the edition, audience, and bounded use; check separately whether the publication activity is permitted. Perform that activity under its applicable direct Method and, when it is claimed as dated Work, use A.15.1 and F.6 for Work and attribution. Apply E.24.PUB only to the distinct availability occurrence. Missing permission blocks the publication activity and the claimed availability, not an otherwise permitted alteration.
MDPE.15:5.3 - Recognition arrangement: a rule change is not recognition or selection
Suppose MDPE.13 returns a bounded decision to change how one social-dance event admits battle entries: publish a revised category description, add a practitioner panel, make an appeal procedure usable, and identify who gives feedback to whom about which decision. Its DecisionSubject and authority for that decision are named separately from the Agent performing the change Work. Identify an assignment when it governs that Work’s attribution; recheck permission, consent, resources, and capability. Event-policy and implementation Work can then change the local arrangement. A later event can supply observations about actual participation, decisions, refusals, appeals, and affected Systems.
The published rule is a direct artifact. The obtaining panel, assignments, and appeal relations are separate world-side arrangement changes. The event observations are separate again. None proves that a wider scene recognizes or retains the affected variants. If the event never runs, report the changed description and untested arrangement rather than a successful recognition change.
This is a constructed application, not a report about a named event.
MDPE.15:5.4 - Shimon: software or control change needs a configured performance trial
A human robot-development team may choose to change gesture timing, sensing, or control after a Shimon performance study. Treat the team as the practice-developing Agent only when its agency and capability are sufficient and it has the authority and permission needed for the attributed development Work. Shimon is the performing Agent for the bounded Music Work when it performs that Work autonomously under the tested conditions; the Music Work enacts the applicable performance Method. Engineering Work can change software, hardware, sensing, or control. Music trial Work then has to use the changed configuration under stated tempo, gesture, instrument, observer, and sound conditions.
A software commit or bench result does not establish a changed musical performance Method. A trial can support timing, synchronization, gesture, attention, noise, or plausibility observations only for its configuration. Cultural influence and autonomous practice-development authority remain unsupported unless separate evidence establishes them.
MDPE.15:5.5 - Teaching change: variable contexts are tested through transfer, not repetition count
A Dance teacher selects a local change from repeating one figure in one cue condition to practising the same coordination across varied partners, tempi, entry cues, floor conditions, and phrase positions. The class plan and cue descriptions can change first. Teaching and practice Work then occur. Representative later Dance Work tests whether the learner can retrieve and adapt the coordination under a held-out situation.
Context-inference and transfer hypotheses can justify the trial design, but they do not establish transfer. Human Capability Development governs the capability-development Method and transfer evidence; the MDPE.15 result account keeps the local teaching-arrangement change, performed Work, and trial result distinct. For a robot or AI performer, use its applicable training and evaluation Method rather than copying the human mechanism claim.
MDPE.15:5.6 - Direct-Method stop
If a direct composition, choreography, arrangement, translation, teaching, rehearsal, instrument, software, robot-control, event-production, curation, or recognition-arrangement Method already returns the selected change, performed Work, changed subject or failed attempt, direct result, trial observations, limits, and later-evidence question, use it and stop. This pattern adds value only when those domain results are otherwise collapsed or omitted.
MDPE.15:6 - Bias Annotation
| Bias risk | Likely distortion | Repair |
|---|---|---|
| Artifact bias | A changed score, video, prompt, class plan, model, or rule stands for changed practice. | Name the artifact and any separate Method, capability, arrangement, Work, and effect claims. |
| Success-story bias | Failed or partial change Work is omitted. | Preserve stopped Work, actual outputs, unchanged or partly changed subject, and retry condition. |
| Stage-production bias | Concert, ballet, theatre, or festival production becomes the default local-change case. | Test social, paired, improvised, teaching, recorded, online, robotic, and low-resource cases. |
| Human-only bias | The performer, learner, observer, and practice-developing Agent are assumed to be one person. | Identify each Agent, supporting non-agent System, decision-bearing assignment, and Work attribution in human, robotic, AI, ensemble, and hybrid cases. |
| Metric bias | Technical improvement stands for artistic, bodily, partner, audience, or practice improvement. | Preserve non-equivalent observations, affected Systems, protected characteristics, and limits. |
| Authority bias | The best performer, teacher, founder, robot, platform, or audience is assumed to own the change. | Name the DecisionSubject, practice-developing Agent, authority, permission, consent, and the usable means by which an affected participant can refuse. |
| Cultural-control bias | One implementation is treated as style evolution. | Keep the later transmission, recognition, selection, retention, spread, and loss questions open. |

MDPE.15:8 - Common Failures and Repairs
| Failure | Why it fails | Repair |
|---|---|---|
| “We approved the new Method.” | Approval is not Work or change. | Perform the applicable change Work and identify the later subject. |
| “The plan was implemented.” | The WorkPlan and Work are different epistemic and world-side entities. | Identify dated Work and actual outputs; otherwise report planned only. |
| “The choreography changed.” | The changed subject may be only a description, one phrase branch, one performance, or one dancer’s enactment. | Reidentify the governed subject and its continuity or derivation relation. |
| “The trial succeeded.” | Success hides criterion, observer, conditions, uncertainty, and non-equivalent harms. | State observations and the bounded conclusion they support. |
| “The change caused better performance.” | Temporal order or preference is not a consequence relation. | Use an applicable comparison or causal Method, or report succession and judgement only. |
| “The robot improved its practice.” | Engineering Work, robot configuration, performance Work, and practice-development agency are collapsed. | Separate the changed System, performing Agent, Work, capability, practice-developing Agent, decision authority, Work permission, and any obtaining assignment that changes the decision. |
| “The community adopted it.” | One class, event, publication, or platform trace does not establish distributed cultural relations. | Use receiving enactment, recognition, selection, retention, and population evidence separately. |
| “Nothing changed, so there is no result.” | A failed or partial attempt can change the next decision. | Return the actual stopped Work, unchanged or partly changed subject, evidence, and retry or stop condition. |
MDPE.15:9 - Consequences
The pattern makes local Music-or-Dance development inspectable. It prevents a proposal, choice, plan, artifact, technical reading, or enthusiastic rehearsal from standing for a changed practice. It also preserves useful failures and partial changes as decision evidence.
The cost is explicit identity and relation work. A team may discover that it changed the wrong subject, lacks representative trial conditions, or cannot support the desired effect claim. That narrower result is preferable to a broad success story because it tells the next practitioner what can actually be reused.
MDPE.15:10 - Rationale
Music and Dance practices change through local Work long before any population-level cultural relation can be established. Locality does not make the change unimportant; it makes the claim bounded. The pattern therefore closes one gap between architecture or choice and cultural evolution: Work enacting an applicable direct Method carries one selected change into the world, and the result account preserves its direct evidence.
Both fields repeatedly change materials, embodied or instrumental Methods, performing configurations, teaching and event arrangements, and selection arrangements through trials whose observations are not equivalent. Capable Agents make those changes through Work that enacts direct Music and Dance Methods. This pattern adds the cross-domain separation and result account needed to prevent those results from collapsing.
MDPE.15:11 - SoTA and Source Use

Current FPF C.11, A.15.2, C.24, A.15.1, A.3.4, A.2.8, A.2.8.PER, E.10.ROLE, A.2.1, F.6, A.6.RCD, E.23, A.10, and C.36 | Separate choice, plan, tool/call planning, performed Work, actual transformation, obligation, permission, role-word recovery, assignment occurrence, performed-Work attribution, missing-governor recovery, improvement loop, evidence reliance, and local versus cultural change. | These patterns do not supply the changed Music-or-Dance subject, direct change Method, domain trial, or paired-domain result account; no listed pattern is a generic grant of agency or decision authority. |
MDPE.6 source-grounded Music and Dance replays | Feasible revise before use and branch choices whose implementation and trial remain separate. | The constructed identifiers and later Work are examples, not reported occurrences or transferable effectiveness claims. |
MDPE.13 recognition-and-selection arrangement cases | A possible-future description is terminal until another decision; a bounded feasible change decision can supply this pattern after authority, permission, and feasibility are checked again. | Arrangement design, implementation, actual recognition or selection, and later cultural effect remain separate. |
| McCloskey et al., automatic arrangement for monophonic instruments | A direct Music Method with explicit preserved and changed score characteristics and a feasible-result boundary. | It does not establish rehearsal, balance, timbre, performer capability, concert use, or cultural effect. |
| Stopgap, Inclusive Choreography | Direct Dance translation and inclusive-choreography distinctions that change movement, body, effort, cue, and source-return decisions. | It does not establish one universal translation Method, one material identity, capability transfer, or scene recognition. |
Shimon project sources maintained by MDPE.14 | Distinct engineering change, robotic performance, observation, and human-led practice-development roles. | They do not support an unreported local change occurrence, robot-held development authority, Dance transfer, or cultural continuation. |
| COIN sensorimotor study and contextual cues and transition statistics, discussed in the Preface’s learning section | A reason to test retrieval and transfer under changed cues and representative contexts rather than count repetitions in one setting. | Human motor-learning evidence does not automatically transfer to every cognitive, robotic, or AI learner and does not establish transfer in the current case. |
Mutable web-source claims are dated to 2026-08-26. Recheck only a claim that depends on a changed source, configuration, direct result, or current FPF relation. A new source does not reopen unrelated local-change accounts.

The local trial does not silently delete branches, source return, stepping stones, or archive records.MDPE.15 → MDPE.16is revision feedback when an actual trial changes live membership, performer feasibility, retained use, stepping-stone value, or the supported reason for suspension or removal.E.10.ROLEonly recovers ambiguous role wording.A.2.1governs an obtaining assignment occurrence and its declared species;F.6governs attribution when an Agent performs dated Work under that assignment. None supplies agency, capability, authority, permission, consent, resources, or successful Work.A.15.2governs a WorkPlan when one is needed;C.24governs tool or call planning only when that question is current;A.15.1governs performed Work;A.3.4governs bounded actual change.A.15.7governs bounded next-action steering when current facts change a live branch under an already-admitted Method. It is neither the prior choice nor a universal improvisation Method.MDPE.15 → MDPE.7is a conditional evidence input. The local result can change the next development choice; it does not make that choice.MDPE.15 → MDPE.14is revision feedback only when observations change the same conflict, candidate, comparison, residual, moved burden, or representative test.MDPE.15 → MDPE.17can supply an actual changed Method or repertoire variant with its conditions for receiving enactment. It can also supply a MethodDescription as source content. The description or a failed change attempt alone does not establish an actual changed Method or receiving enactment.MDPE.12may use later observations under its own comparison question.MDPE.10and Human Capability Development own capability-development and transfer results.C.36,MDPE.17,MDPE.19, andMDPE.20own later transmission, cultural continuation, retention or loss, and trajectory claims. One local change establishes none of them.
